Photos for When You Need Motivation (Or a Reality Check)
I’m not talking about some rainbow and glitter “maybe you can do it” sayings. I’m talking about get your ass in gear it’s time to hustle posters. Stay humble and get out there cause the world needs you. Everyone has their own ways to get motivated and for some reason for me it's sassy (borderline offensive) sayings. Maybe it's because I'm so rebellious.
Okay, so realistically maybe it’s because when I’m at a low point in my life, I’m not looking for some flowery message about how things are going to be okay if I put my mind over matter. I’m looking for a straight up person who can tell me that I need to get it together, and I don’t see that rude. Rather my thoughts get so messed up in a dark state that I don’t need an abstract happy message, rather a reality check. These sassy and straight forward messages bring me back to the real world, and I’ve learned that humor is one of the best tools to get out of deep lows. I always said my ED was a bitch, and the only way to beat that is to bring in a badass poster that’s going to straighten that evil voice out.
Here are some of my favourites.....
For when you wake up not feeling #Flawless,
The passive aggressive way to get out of the house,
When you need to stay true to yourself,
When a "break" turns into "4 seasons deep on the newest netflix series about cats" procrastination,
To remind yourself of your goals,
Four score and seven years ago President dropped the mic with this motivation,
For your professional and leadership goals (straight from the top of The Office),
For when we need realize we can't always be superheroes (we're all human and need breaks sometime),
*Disclaimer-if you actually said this to someone you may not end up with friends*,
Because you. deserve. better,
The definition a reality check,
When you need your brain to chill (talking to you anxiety),
And at the end of the day remember to always,
